The Portuguese Circle is proud to have presented the first Portuguese and Brazilian Festival in New York. Centuries of history and a common language unite the two countries, and to celebrate this strong bond we brought together different types of art forms under the same roof.
Ranging from photography and painting to design, music and video performances, the event will showcase the work of renowned artists from Brazil and Portugal, and from other backgrounds whose work is connected with Portugal and Brazil.
The event took place on November 5th 2011. The venue hosting the event was a huge 2 floor, 14,000 sqft loft located in the heart of New York City. A detailed schedule of the music, film and video performances will be made available soon.
If you are a fan of the Portuguese or Brazilian cuisine, you will be able to enjoy different food delicacies and special cocktails, thanks to the restaurants and brands partnering with us to make the Portuguese & Brazilian Festival possible.
Help us promote the work of these talented artists by participating in the event and also by telling all your friends and acquaintances about it. If your neighbors are nice... invite them also.
