Strong Leadership. Strong Women. Strong World. Each year around the world, International Women's Day is celebrated on March 8th. _gaia invites you to address women's extensive contributions in art, culture and community. Women represent more than 50% of the world's population. As astronauts, as prime ministers, as educators, women transform lives, create opportunity, form strong communities and shape the world in which we live. We must make everyday Women's Day.
International Women's Day (IWD) has been observed since the early 1900's.
